children’s retreats
At Why Give UK, we are passionate about seeing children and young people living life to the full. Merging creativity with the ethereal beauty of nature, our all inclusive weekend retreats are designed to bring wellness, connectivity, aspiration and growth.
For younger children (aged 8-10 years old), we also take them on the wonderful journey through the story of The Purple Potion book. They learn how a young boy and his sister hurdle through difficult experiences like grief and abandonment, whilst simultaneously encountering the adventure of maturing, building friendships, facing opposition and developing resilience.
Through creative workshops, group activities and engaging with nature, our silver lining is nurturing young people who are bold, kind and courageous, knowing that the world is an oyster, what’s in it is truly for the taking.

parenting retreats
Parents can escape into the tranquillity of the countryside to unwind from the pressures of busy schedules. Raising children can be difficult and as the old adage says, it takes a village to raise a child, so spending time with others, socialising, relaxing and learning can be a source of encouragement and empowerment.
We also know that coming away just to connect with oneself is equally important, we have created ample time for that too.
What we offer:
Affirmations & gratitude
Parenting sessions
Wellbeing workshops
Nature walk and talks
Cooking and dining experience
Art therapy
Spa treatments

The scheme is for ninety days, with an in-person meeting every six weeks, work placements and provision of breaks for respite and implementation.
